Al-Shaqab is organizing a wide range of entertainment activities to take place during Chi Al Shaqab 2016 from 2 – 5 March.

The fourth edition of the prestigious equestrian competition will feature new family-friendly activities as part of its Festival Area which will include an Entertainment Zone.

The Festival Area will include:

* Pony rides

* Horse-carriage rides

* A variety of Food and Beverages including traditional Qatari food

* Digital photo booth station with instant print-outs

* Gaming area

* Race simulator

* Face painting

* Arts and crafts

* Balloon bender

* Interactive screen

* A child care facility for toddlers

* Henna stands

* Falcons on display

Mr Omar Al Mannai, Event Director, CHI AL SHAQAB, said: “We believe that CHI AL SHAQAB should be an event to be enjoyed by enthusiasts of this important equestrian event as well as members of the wider community. Building on the success of the previous years, we have decided to enhance the activities available in our Festival Area.

“We hope to see many more visitors from the community attend our event this year, and look forward to offering an event to be enjoyed by all members of the family”.

For Wednesday and Thursday, tickets are priced at QAR 20 for adults and QAR 10 for children aged between 6 and 12; For Friday and Saturday tickets are priced at QAR 40 for adults and QAR 10 for children.

Children below 6 years old will be given free access. Tickets are available online at Q-Tickets www.q-tickets.com. Tickets can also be purchased on site on the days of the event.
