Registration is open to Qatari students, students from other GCC nations, children of Qatari women, and expatriates working in government fields.
The Student Affairs Department will evaluate the applications submitted by the parents of eligible pupils. The school will decide whether or not to accept the registration application.
Applicants with questions about registering should consult the user guide on the public services web or call the 155 hotline.
According to a report on the Ministry's website, there were 207 public schools and 68 kindergartens educating more than 124,600 Qatari and non-Qatari students in the 2019-20 academic year.
Basic and integrated curricula — mathematics and science, Arabic and English languages, Qatar's history, and Islamic education — are taught in all public schools in Qatar.
