In some exciting news for citizens and residents of Qatar eagerly looking forward to a vacation, Qatar Airways (QA) today announced details of Qatar’s first COVID-19 ‘Travel Bubble Holiday’ Packages established between Qatar and the Maldives.
Aimed at providing peace of mind to Qatar’s citizens and residents to holiday safely, the travel bubble removes the need to quarantine or self-isolate upon return to Qatar.
“By booking a Flight and Hotel package with Qatar Airways Holidays, you can now enjoy a holiday on a paradise island, surrounded by glistening turquoise seas, without having to worry about going into quarantine or self-isolation upon return,” according to Qatar Airways Holidays.
Additionally, residents who avail the package will also not need an Exceptional Entry Permit to return home (to Qatar).
Under the travel bubble packages, two luxury high-end resorts will be exclusively available for guests traveling from Qatar.
“Each resort is situated on its own private island so you can rest assured that these exclusive use resorts are as safe to visit as any of the resorts in Qatar,” states the Qatar Airways Holidays website.
Maldives has been added to Qatar’s Green List of countries after it got the Safe Travel Stamp.
All packages can be booked from today to December 24, 2020, for travel from December 1 to January 7, 2021.
All packages are inclusive of return flights between Qatar and the Maldives on Qatar Airways, accommodation on a full board basis, return airport transfers, and all taxes.
Customers will have access to all hotel facilities, be able to upgrade their meal package, enjoy heavily discounted rates off the retail outlets and enjoy flexible cancellation policies.
