The QA 787 Dreamliner (QR9901) took off at 9.17 am and landed back in Doha after 13 minutes.
"The @BoeingAirplanes 787 Dreamliner has been instrumental to rebuilding our network, and we’re using this aircraft for today’s #ThinkPink flight to support #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth," QA mentioned in a tweet.

Earlier, QA said in a press release that in partnership with Qatar Cancer Society (QCS), it has teamed up with Hamad International Airport (HIA), Qatar Aviation Services (QAS), and Qatar Duty-Free (QDF) to show support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month ‘Think Pink’ activities to raise awareness of breast cancer prevention and control.
During the month, QA is offering its passengers an exclusive ‘Think Pink' experience in the sky as well in its lounges. The airline is providing custom-designed limited-edition amenity kits and pink-themed special menus.
Passengers traveling on long-haul and ultra-long-haul flights in Business Class are offered a luxury amenity bag designed in-house and created exclusively for QA by stylish Italian luggage brand BRIC'S.
The exclusive amenity kits are made from vegan leather and there are male and female options available. Both kits feature a unique zipper pull in the shape of the iconic breast cancer ribbon.
The kits are further customized with a message imprinted on a band, reading, ‘Think pink and support the fight.'
