Qatar Airways operated the world's first fully COVID-19 vaccinated flight yesterday.
The flight departed Hamad International Airport (HIA) carrying only vaccinated crew and passengers on board, with passengers served by the fully vaccinated staff at check-in.

The special flight showcased all the measures the airline has put in place to ensure the highest standards of safety and hygiene on board, including its latest innovation, the world's first Zero-Touch in-flight entertainment technology.

The special service operated by the airline's most technologically advanced and sustainable aircraft, the Airbus A350-1000, with the flight also fully carbon offset in line with the carriers environmental responsibilities.

Moreover, Qatar Airways Cargo has crossed a milestone of transporting over 1.5 million COVID-19 vaccine doses into Qatar.
Since December 2020, Qatar Airways Cargo has transported COVID-19 vaccines to many countries around the world, providing large populations access to these vital vaccines.
Globally, the cargo carrier has surpassed a milestone with close to 20 million COVID-19 vaccines transported into 24 different countries, including COVID-19 vaccines for UNICEF as part of the five-year MoU to support UNICEF’s Humanitarian Airfreight Initiative.
