Qatar Airways further secures its status as a multiple award-winning airline after winning 10 prestigious Global Awards this October, including Business Traveller, Kayak, Condé Nast Traveler and CJ Affiliate.

At the global Business Traveller Awards 2018 in London, the first three awards were presented by the renowned magazine, for ‘Best Long-Haul Airline’, ‘Best Business Class’ and ‘Best Middle East Airline’. Following that, awards specifically made for the the Middle East and Africa region were also won by Qatar Airways, from the international travel site ‘Kayak’, including ‘Best Airline’, ‘Best Boarding’, ‘Best Comfort’, ‘Best Crew’ and ‘Best Food’. The awards were based on passenger ratings and reviews and were not solely dependant on a higher board deicison.

Lastly, a High Commendation for the ‘Global Excellence Award’ at the 2018 CJ You Awards, in California, which recognised the national carrier for its well-executed international strategy for its affiliate program. In third place, at the Condé Nast Travellers 2018 Reader’s Choice Awards, Qatar Airways also received an award in the ‘Top Airlines’ in the international category, which were based on the collective votes of almost half a million global travellers.

Qatar’s national carrier continues to demonstrate success with there second position as best airline on a global scale. His Excellency Mr. Akbar Al Baker, Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive stated his enthusiasm with the 10 awards presented from various prestigious titles and that the accolades “are a reflection of our commitment to providing unparalleled service to our passengers”. He added “As an airline, we constantly strive to provide the best service to our passengers and we are honoured to be recognized through the volume of awards presented to us this year by prestigious industry leaders. We will remain committed to offering our award-winning service and to further enhancing our customers’ flying experience.”

As one of the world’s rapidly growing airlines, the awards received in October are the latest in a host of other honours recieved in recent months, that have continued to display the airline’s determination to remain a world-class establishment.
