Commander of the Qatar Amiri Land Forces HE Brigadier General Jassim Ali Al Attiyah met with the Chief of Staff of the French Land Forces General Pierre Schill to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral military cooperation.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed matters of mutual interest and explored opportunities to enhance defence cooperation between the Qatari and French armed forces.
At the meeting’s conclusion, General Schill awarded Brigadier General Al Attiyah the French National Order of the Legion of Honor in recognition of his contributions to strengthening military ties between the two nations.
The meeting was attended by a number of senior officers from both the Qatar Amiri Land Forces and the French Land Forces.
