Any passenger arriving before then must adhere to the red list guidelines, which include a hotel quarantine period followed by two COVID-19 tests.
Additionally, the UK also relaxed requirements for visitors from India, Bahrain, and the United Arab Emirates, shifting them from the UK's highest-risk "red" list to its medium-risk "amber" list.
Those traveling to the UK from countries on the Amber List must undergo a COVID-19 test three days prior to travel and pay for additional COVID-19 tests once they arrive.
The traveller will be subjected to a 10-day home quarantine, with two COVID-19 tests required on or before day 2 and on or after day 8.
According to the UK travel policy, fully vaccinated UK citizens will not be required to undergo quarantine or take the day 8 test when arriving in England.
On Monday, August 2, Britain opened its borders to fully vaccinated passengers from the United States and the European Union, allowing them to take advantage of the COVID-19 inoculation program.
