The Qatar Calendar House (QCH) announced on Tuesday that March 30, 2025, was expected to be the first day of Eid al-Fitr 1446 AH.
A QCH statement said the announcement was based on astronomical calculations conducted by its specialists.
QCH’s Executive Director Eng. Faisal Al Ansari said the crescent moon for this year’s Shawwal (the 10th lunar month) will be born on the evening of Saturday, March 29, at 1:58pm Doha local time (10:58 am GMT).
