Qatar has been doing everything to help alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people ever since the war with Israel started.

In addition to sending aid and taking a lead role in negotiating a truce, the country has also been evacuating Palestinians from Gaza who hold Qatari residence permits.

Qatar evacuated a group of 89 Palestinians, all holding Qatar residency permits, from the Gaza Strip through the Egyptian city of Al Arish. 

They were evacuated on a plane belonging to the Qatari Armed Forces, in coordination with Egypt.

Work is continuing for the evacuation of all Qatar residency holders stranded in the Gaza Strip.
