According to the Department of Meteorology’s daily weather report, a warning of strong winds and poor visibility was predicted for today. 

Coastal weather will be hot to very hot until 6:00 p.m. Saturday, with blowing dust at times becoming dusty later. Offshore, there will be light dust that will turn dusty eventually, according to the forecast, which also warned of strong winds and high seas.

Sea state inshore will be 2 to 4 feet rises to 5 feet at times. Offshore it will be 7 to 10 feet, surging to 13 feet at places at times.
