Qatar is a melting pot of cultures from all around the world.
Appreciating this fact, Qatar Museums will host a colourful ceremony this weekend to celebrate traditions and cultures from all around the world, reported Gulf Times.
The event, which will be held at the Museum of Islamic Arts (MIA) Park on Friday and Saturday (November 10 and 11), will feature Embassies, community groups, or schools from Jordan, Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, Tunisia, Palestine, Morocco, Bangladesh, Philippines, India, China, Tanzania, the US, Canada, Turkey, Afghanistan and Sudan, reported The Peninsula.
At the event, communities will give people a glimpse of their respective cultures by showcasing traditional clothing items, music, games, books and more. A selection of delicious food and beverages representing each country will also be on offer.
“We’re proud to celebrate and recognise cultures from all over the world at MIA this weekend. It’s wonderful to see individuals from all over the world come together to connect over music, books, children’s activities and delicious food,” said MIA’s Learning & Outreach Director Salem Al Aswad.
