Qatar National Day 2022 is all set to be an exciting affair with the favorite venue Darb Al Saai expected to host 4,500 activities for the public. The festivities at Qatar’s largest QND 2022 celebrations will include activities ranging from sports, culture, arts, heritage, and entertainment from November 25 to December 18.

The announcement was made by the General Supervisor of the National Day Celebration Organizing Committee, Dr. Ghanem bin Mubarak Al Ali, who remarked that nearly 4,500 activities are expected to be conducted across 24 days for QND 2022 celebrations. The celebrations will coincide with the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ and the concurrent festivities will give tourists and fans an insight into the rich culture and history of Qatar. The events will enhance solidarity and pride in the Qatar National Day.

Minister of Culture HE Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Thani also unveiled the slogan for QND 2022, “Our Unity Our Source of Strength” in the press conference held at Umm Salal Muhammed. The Minister also stressed on the idea that every Qatar resident and citizen is equivalent to a Qatari ambassador and by imbibing the values of the 2022 slogan, the community can showcase their love, unity, and strength in culture and diversity.

Darb Al Saai is also anticipated to enable visitors to experience food and dining options from nearly 30 restaurants and cafes along with shopping from 80 stores. It is also expected to host musical and poetry evenings; intellectual and artistic seminars; competitions and exhibitions; games; and workshops, and so much more during the 24-day celebration.

Darb Al Saai has earlier been shifted to its new and permanent location in Umm Salal Muhammed, and the new venue is spread over 150,000 sq.mts.
