Qatar participated in the economic forum “Transforming Sustainability into a Competitive Advantage: Building Resilient Institutions in an Uncertain World”, held in Skopje, North Macedonia.
The forum was organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of North Macedonia, and the Office of the UN Resident Coordinator, in partnership with the European Union Delegation.
Qatar was represented at the forum by Rashid bin Saeed Al Khayarin, Chargé d’Affaires at the Embassy of Qatar in North Macedonia.
The forum was attended by North Macedonia’s Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski, UN Resident Coordinator Rita Columbia, members of the diplomatic corps, representatives of international organisations, and several political, economic, and cultural figures.
Participants discussed ways to strengthen sustainability practices and their role in raising institutional competitiveness, as well as building a more resilient economy capable of facing global challenges and changes.
