Good news for motorists in Qatar! Starting from tomorrow, September 1, fuel in Qatar will cost cheaper.

According to the latest price list issued by Qatar Petroleum, all fuel prices have been reduced for the month of September. 

From tomorrow, a liter of Premium Gasoline will cost QR1.70, 10 dirhams less than its cost in August, while Super Gasoline will be available for QR1.80 per liter, reflecting a similar difference of 10 dirhams from the current month. 

Additionally, the price of diesel has gone down by five dirhams from August to September. Next month, diesel will be available for QR1.85 per liter. 

Qatar Petroleum had increased the prices of fuel for the month of August after a period of relatively lower fuel costs in July 2019, following a few months of fuel price increase.

April 2019 saw a stark increase in fuel prices that went up by 25 dirhams in contrast to fuel prices in March. May witnessed a further rise in fuel prices with no change in June. 

QP has been announcing the monthly fuel price list since September 2017.

When the first list was announced in June 2016 the premium petrol was QR1.20 per liter, super QR1.30 per liter and diesel QR1.40 per liter.
