Qatar has made it abundantly clear that the fight against the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) is one that requires global solidarity

Through its continued humanitarian efforts to support countries deeply impacted by the pandemic, Qatar has come to the aid of several countries to help them confront the disease and curb its spread.

Earlier, upon the directives of HH the Amir, Qatar extended a helping hand toward countries including China, Iran, Italy, Palestine, and Lebanon, to support their efforts to tackle the virus.

Building upon these efforts, the country yesterday sent urgent COVID-19 relief aid to four more countries.

According to QFFD, a total of 45 tonnes of medical aid, including medical equipment and supplies was sent to Algeria, Nepal, Tunisia, and Rwanda, through Qatar Airways.
