The Spring 2021 semester at Qatar University (QU) begins today with the distance education system without students coming to the campus to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).

QU’s Vice-President for Student Affairs, Dr. Iman Mostafawi, welcomed the new batch of students admitted to various colleges by wishing them a distinguished and stimulating university life to achieve their goals.

She emphasized that all students should strive hard from the first day of the semester to acquire knowledge and personal skills. As the university provides them with many development opportunities and support, whether at the academic level or extra-curricular programs.

She added that the university continues to support its students during their educational journey by developing, enhancing, and improving the quality of student services.

QU is very keen on overcoming difficulties and solving problems that some students may encounter during the beginning of the semester, such as problems while registering for courses and providing services from a distance education system.

The service providers, academic advisors, and various colleges do their best to help students during this important period of the semester.
