Qatar’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry has unveiled a new home delivery service for subsidized food rations for eligible citizens of the country.

The service will be implemented in collaboration with Rafeeq and Snoonu, announced the Ministry in a social media post.

Under the new initiative, beneficiaries will be able to receive their food supplies directly at their doorstep, with comprehensive coverage extending across the country.

The delivery process will include a verification code sent to beneficiaries to confirm identity and ensure accurate delivery. A delivery fee of QAR25 will be applicable.

Eligible citizens can place orders through the Rafeeq and Snoonu mobile applications by entering the eight-digit number printed below their ration card.

The Ministry noted that the new initiative aims to enhance the efficiency of government services by using innovation, improving the beneficiary experience, and strengthening digital systems to ensure flexible and reliable service delivery.

The initiative marks a significant step towards advancing digital transformation of essential public services in the country.
