QIFF 2015 had a wonderful opening day. Good weather pulled in the crowds whilst the food and attractions kept visitors there long past evening.

The event started with an opening ceremony by Her Excellency Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, Chairperson of Qatar Museums.

The many Food Zones were organised fantastically from gourmet offerings to traditional Qatari dishes to more healthy food options at the Yalla Natural Health Food Truck. The fireworks show was first class and definitely not to be missed!
