Doha Fencing Grand Prix 2026

The Doha Fencing Grand Prix 2026 is a prestigious FIE World Circuit Épée championship, taking place January 23-25, 2026 at Aspire Dome. The Craft of the Foley Artist: How to Create Sound Effects for Film

This 3-session practical workshop will address basic techniques of foley: recording steps, object manipulation and other actions with practical exercises where participants will perform and record themselves to create sound effects, understand how to edit and export sessions for sound mixing.

With Mauro Eusepi, a foley artist based in Rome, Italy. He is known for his foley work in Paolo Sorrentino’s Hand of God (2021), Loro ( 2020) ,Youth (2015) , The Great Beauty (2013) , and Mateo Garrone’s Dogman (2018). He is also a lecturer at the Scuola D’Arte Cinematografica Gian Maria Volonte, in Rome.
