When and where is QMED 2026?

QMED runs from Wednesday, 14 October to Friday, 16 October 2026 at the Qatar National Convention Centre in Education City.

The current QNCC listing shows:

The QMED website separately lists an 8am start on 14, 15 and 16 October. It does not currently publish a clear closing time for each individual day, so I would avoid stating that the exhibition closes at a fixed time daily unless the organiser releases a detailed visitor timetable.

Important venue update

Older QMED information may still show Exhibition Hall 8, because that was the hall attached to the original May 2026 event listing.

However, QNCC's current October event calendar lists:

How to get to QNCC

QNCC is located in Education City, Al Rayyan.

Take the Green Line and get off at:

Qatar National Library Station

Use Gate 2, then follow the pedestrian route towards QNCC.

QNCC says the walk to Exhibition Halls 3–9 takes approximately 10–15 minutes.

This is more precise than simply saying “take the Metro to Education City.”

By Education City Tram

You can also use the Education City Tram and get off at QNCC Station, then walk to the convention centre entrance.

By taxi or ride-hailing

For events in Halls 3–9, QNCC recommends entering:

By car

QNCC has multi-storey parking.

This option provides the raw exhibition space and requires the exhibitor to arrange its own stand construction and fit-out.

Shell scheme / fitted stand

USD 400 per sqm

Minimum booking:

12 sqm

The standard shell scheme includes:

• One table
• Two chairs
• Two spotlights
• One electrical wall plug
• Exhibitor name and stand-number board
• Carpet flooring.

Mandatory participation fee

USD 250

This is charged in addition to the exhibition-space cost.

According to the organiser, it includes:

• Official event catalogue listing
• Website listing
• Exhibitor badges
• 100 visitor invitation cards
• Administrative services.

What would a space-only stand actually cost?

Because the minimum space-only booking is 24 sqm, the minimum space charge would be:

24 sqm × USD 385 = USD 9,240

Then add the compulsory:

USD 250 participation fee

before stand construction, furniture and other fit-out expenses.

So it would be misleading to tell businesses that exhibiting costs only USD 385 plus USD 250.

For a shell-scheme stand, the minimum is 12 sqm at USD 400 per sqm, before the participation fee.

Why did the QMED 2026 dates change?

QMED was originally scheduled to take place from:

6–8 May 2026

at QNCC.

An older QNCC event listing still shows those dates and Exhibition Hall 8.

The current event has since moved to:

14–16 October 2026

and QNCC now lists it in Exhibition Hall 7.

Anyone who saved the original May event should update both the dates and hall information.
