Indian budget airlines Indigo has been operating flights to and from Qatar for a few years now. It recently announced that come October, it would start flying to two more Indian cities.
Indigo, which is the country’s largest domestic airline by market share, will begin direct flights to Ahmedabad in Gujarat and Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala from October 1, reported The Peninsula.

The two new destinations are in addition to six others in India the airlines currently operates from Doha. They already fly directly from Doha to Hyderabad, Kochi, Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Kozhikode.

The airline has started accepting bookings for Ahmedabad-Doha and Thiruvananthapuram-Doha flights from October 1. For Doha-Ahmedabad, booking availability begins October 2.
The Doha-Ahmedabad (6E 1731) flight, operating an A-320, will depart at 2.40am and arrive in India at 8.35am.
The return flight (6E 1729) will leave at 9.35am and arrive in Doha at 10.35am. The Doha- Thiruvananthapuram (6E 1728) flight, operating an A-320, will depart at 11.35am and arrive at 6.55pm.
The return flight (6E 1727) will leave Thiruvananthapuram at 11.15pm and arrive in Doha the next day at 1.40am.
