In an effort to join hands with and come out in support of the strong women fighting Breast Cancer, Sharq Village & Spa will be hosting a specially crafted 'Pink Afternoon Tea' throughout the month of October, 2018.

In addition to this, the wellness experts at The Spa will be hosting a yoga session on 18th October, Thursday, the proceeds of which will be donated to Qatar Charity.

For tea, you can expect an array of delectable clasiics like warm scones with home-made jam, petit sandwiches with fillings like beetroot cured salmon, smoked turkey breast and goat cheese, strawberry tartlets, velvet cake and crème brulee, all touched with a pink blush.

To top it all, a sumptuous sprinkle of chef-crafted Arabic sweets will also be on the menu, to satiate that sweet tooth.

Executive Chef and Dilmah-certified Tea Sommelier, Dwayne Krisko, will personally curate the quintessential Ritz-Carlton Tea Ritual that will perfectly complement the light repast.

With the natural ease of a true story-teller, Chef Dwayne will trace the journey of tea-picking from its origins, right to the pouring of that perfect cup of your favourite blend here in Doha.

Chef Dwayne harbours a great passion for tea history and truly believes that the health benefits contained in its antioxidants greatly help in healing the human structure of any ailment, and this is what drives him to educate his team as well as guests on the health benefits of consuming tea.
