Temperatures are expected to soar to beyond 45°C today in different parts of the country, according to the Qatar Meteorological Department. One should also expect the climate to be really humid at night.
Sunday’s maximum temperature — 46°C — is expected to be felt at Al Wakrah, Mesaieed, Abu Samra and Al Khor. Doha is likely to experience 45°C heat while Dukhan is set for a 44°C show. However, the temperature will be milder in Ruwais, at 39°C.

Detailed weather forecast for today shows clouds during daytime and relatively high humidity in Qatar’s western parts. Offshore, scattered clouds are likely.
The temperature reached 46°C at several places yesterday, including the Qatar University area, Abu Hamour, Al Shahaniya, Karana, Turayna, Batna and Ghuwairiyah.
Doha, Abu Samra and Al Khor recorded 45°C heat while it was 44°C in Dukhan, Umm Bab and Jumayliyah.
