1. Ajyal Film Festival 2019

One of the region's biggest and most popular film festivals, the Ajyal Film Festival 2019 is underway, after a magnificent red carpet event at Katara Cultural Village on November 18.
The seventh edition of Ajyal marked its official jury opening event recently at Katara, welcoming more than 450 jurors from 45 countries.
Under the program, the jurors will view, discuss and evaluate the films showcased at the festival and discover cinema as a medium of global positive change.
The six-day event will present a compelling slate of 96 films from 39 countries that demonstrate the power of storytelling to transform minds and will inspire audiences and stimulate discussions about relevant issues that affect them.
The festival will feature public screenings, Ajyal jury screenings, interactive discussions, red carpet events, and community-oriented activities that will delight all ages.
Ajyal 2019 is expanding its public screenings beyond Katara to include screenings at Novo Cinemas in the Pearl and VOX Cinemas at Doha Festival City.

2. Street Food Festival 2019

Dates: November 13-23, 2019
Where: Al Bidda Park
Time: 4:00 pm to 12:00 pm

If you love street food, don’t miss out on eating your way through the Street Food Festival.
“Street food” is ready-to-eat food or drink sold by a vendor in a street or public area, being sold from a food booth, food cart, or food truck.
This edition will offer a unique opportunity for all the visitors to fuel their taste buds with a wide selection of food. From local street food to Asian, this festival has got it all.
The festival will also showcase live cooking shows and many exciting cooking competitions for adults and children.
3. CUDOS Congress 2019

Dates: November 20-26, 2019
Where: Qatar National Convention Center
Time: 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm

The third annual congress of Current Understanding of Diabetes, Obesity and Metabolic Syndromes, the CUDOS Congress 2019 started today and will be held until November 26, 2019.
The event is being organized by Sidra Medicine.
In this edition, the congress aims to become larger and more sustainable. A record-breaking number of participants are expected to join this event, which features more than 80 speakers, 3 joint symposium, 4 pre-congress workshops, and more than 25 scientific sessions.

4. Geekdom Qatar

Qatar’s largest pop-culture event, Geekdom 2019 is all set to kick off from November 19-23, where you can celebrate your inner-geek with a host of fantastic activities for nerds of all kinds!
From cosplay day to edge-of-your-seat video game tournaments, it has got something for everyone.
Geekdom Cosplay Competition:
In association with Qcosplayers, Geekdom will be hosting an epic cosplay competition on Friday, November 22 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Building 18, Katara.

5. Perfumes and Cosmetics Exhibition

Where: Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC)

The first edition of the Perfumes and Cosmetics Exhibition is taking place at Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC) until November 26.
The week-long exhibition is organized by the Kuwait International Fair. The exhibition will be showcasing a selection of premium regional and international perfumes and cosmetics.
If you love collecting new fragrances or you like trying out new cosmetics, don’t miss this exhibition!
6. Torba Farmers Market

Dates: November 23, 2019 (every Saturday)

Torba Farmers Market I back with its third edition!
The Torba Farmers Market, located at Qatar Foundation’s Ceremonial Court, brings locally grown food and a wide range of homemade products to the wider community.
Visitors can sample scrumptious and healthy foods and beverages by home-based businesses, up and coming entrepreneurs, and other members of Qatar’s startup community. Visitors can select from a variety of organic vegetables.
