1. S’hail- Katara International Hunting and Falcons Exhibition

S’hail is an internationally recognized platform of Qatar which was established in 2017. The exhibition is best known for Hunting & Falconry.
S’hail is also known as Canopus, the only star which is closely related to hunting. It is the sign of a new beginning. Every year birds and hunters eagerly wait for S’hail to shine in the sky to begin their journey. It has four different stages, and all the stages are symbolic.
S’hail is very significant in Arabic culture as well. Many legendary Arabic poets have described the importance of S’hail in their masterpieces.
S’hail aims to preserve and create awareness about the rich cultural legacy by organizing the world-class exhibition, awareness programs, and supporting educational and environmental initiatives at both the national and international levels.

2. Your fairy tale Painting

Join the creative artist Mariana Mohsen this weekend as she hosts a fun workshop where one can highlight the artistic skills by drawing own painting of a scene from a fairy tale.
3. Back to School campaign – Carrefour Qatar

Dates: Runs until September 10, 2019
Where: All Carrefour stores in Qatar
Carrefour in Qatar has launched a new fundraising campaign in a bid to support the education of underprivileged children in the country.
After raising QR1million for Education Above All (EAA) recently, Carrefour will now match the amount donated by customers at its cash counters under the new initiative. If a customer donates QR10, for instance, Carrefour will also donate QR10 and the proceeds will be given to EAA.
The main idea behind the initiative is to increase access to education for children who are unable to attend a school due to their financial circumstances.
4. Draw a photo from Qatar’s history

Dates: September 7, 2019
Where: Qatar National Library
Time: 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm

Showcase your artistic skills by drawing one of the historical photos of Qatar with instruction and guidance from Qatari artist Fahad Almaadheed. The drawing class will start with an introduction to the Qatar Photographic Collection at the Heritage Library by librarian Maryam Al-Mutawa.
5. LEGO Festival at DFC

Dates: Runs till September 17, 2019
Where: Doha Festival City
Time: 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm

Doha Festival City is hosting the first of its kind LEGO Festival, featuring six LEGO activities in 4 different zones spread across the mall and has a variety of experiences from creative brick building to instructed challenges and physical activations for visitors to engage with.
LEGO Friends Zone is located in the atrium node, ground floor, where participants can meet and engage with five explorings, creative, funny, and quirky characters; Andrea, Emma, Mia, Olivia, and Stephanie. This zone also includes a photo booth, a silent disco where they can dance away, and a creative station where visitors can create a LEGO heart which will be added to a giant heart display.
The LEGO Duplo activity, located in the Centre Court on the ground floor, caters for the youngest of visitors and allows them to unleash their unlimited potential and engage with their family.
The LEGO festival also has activities for toddlers, they can build pits, build tables, and a Duplo train all set in a park themed set up.
LEGO Technic + Architecture, also located in the Centre Court on the ground floor is for the experienced builders. Patrons get to experience building and racing LEGO cars as well as add to the ever-growing LEGO skyline with their own skyscraper tower. They can also take a picture on the podium with the LEGO Champions Cup.
The LEGO Jungle activity and will be located at the Centre Court on the first floor, where LEGO goers can experience a LEGO zoo, with life-size forms of several animals.
LEGO Ninjago, located at the entertainment node is designed for kids who love adventure, this zone allows the Ninjago theme to come to life with a rustic ninja backdrop, the dojo for training, and huts for dragon challenges.
6. Britain's Got Talent 2019’s telepathic couple performs in Qatar

Dates: September 9-21, 2019
Time: 6:30 pm and 8:30 pm
Where: Mall of Qatar
Entry: Entry is free for all
After successful shows at the Oasis stage in December 2018 and outstanding performances in Britain's Got Talent 2019, the duo is set to baffle spectators in Doha with a wide range of mind reading and magical performances.
Mind2Mind, the acclaimed magical duo features James Harrington and Marina Liani. Mind2Mind rose to fame for an act they performed during the auditions of the Series 13 of Britain's Got Talent.
James is from Milton Keynes and Marina is originally from Ukraine. The duo said 'with the right focus' anyone can engage in the art of telepathy.
