Expect thundershowers and strong winds in different parts of Qatar today, the Met department has said.

According to Gulf Times, the Qatar Meteorology Department has also issued a marine warning for high seas, strong winds and thundery rain.

The wind speed in inshore areas will be 8-18 knots, reaching a high of 25 knots during rain and thunder. Offshore, the wind speed may go up to 30 knots in some areas.


In most areas it will be partly cloudy with a chance of rain in some places, while thunder and blowing dust are also probable.


Offshore, slightly dusty and cloudy conditions are expected today along with scattered rain, which may be accompanied by thunder occasionally. The sea level may rise to 9ft thanks to the more volatile conditions.
 The temperature in Doha is expected to range from 24°C to 32°C today.
