Community events are gradually picking up pace in Qatar as the country passes through the final phase of the lifting of COVID-19 restrictions.

For those who have missed being outdoors and experiencing the unique cultural experiences offered at such events, a new exhibition at Katara Cultural Village may be worth a visit.

The third edition of the Traditional Handicrafts Exhibition kicked off at Katara, building 48, yesterday.

The exhibition was opened by general manager Dr Khalid bin Ibrahim al-Sulaiti accompanied by several diplomats and other dignitaries.

The exhibition sees the participation of several artists featuring their unique artistic creations and works made with different materials.

The 10-day exhibition runs daily from 9 am - 12 noon, and 4 pm - 10 pm.

There are a number of stalls that represent different countries including, Ethiopia, Syria, Palestine, Tunisia, Morocco, Sudan and Iran. These will be open from 4 pm to 10 pm.
