Qatar Rail is currently working to set up 300 air-conditioned bus shelters around Doha Metro stations in different locations.
These shelters are dedicated to serving the users of public transport buses and Metrolink, Qatar Rail tweeted on Sunday.

This follows Sunday's announcement that Qatar Rail is working on preparing 300 bus stops near Doha Metro stations.
Recently, Qatar Rail announced that it is currently working on preparing 300 bus stops near Doha Metro stations. These stops, marked with a bright red color, will help facilitate the boarding and alighting of passengers next to the stations, Qatar Rail said in a tweet on Saturday.
Doha Metro resumed its services on September 1 at 30% of its capacity as part of Phase 4 of the gradual lifting of COVID-19 restrictions. Along with that, the Metrolink feeder buses also started operating on 17 selected routes.

Doha Metro also opened Legtaifiya station on the Red Line, which is one of the interchange stations between the Doha Metro and Lusail Tram, completing the 37 Doha Metro stations.
Additionally, Qatar Rail on Sunday announced the expansion of the free MetroLink service, which now takes passengers to and from The Pearl-Qatar and Legtaifiya station.
The operating hours of the free M110 Metrolink service are from 6:00 am to 11:00 pm, Saturday to Wednesday; from 6:00 am to 12:00 pm on Thursday; and from 2:00 pm and 11.59 pm on Friday, according to a post on Qatar Rail's dedicated Doha Metro & Lusail Tram Twitter page.
The opening of Legtaifiya station marked the completion of the 40km-long Red Line, connecting travelers from Al Wakrah in the south to Lusail in the north, with stops along with key destinations on the way.
Meanwhile, Metro passengers stand to further benefit as Qatar Rail on Sunday announced the expansion of the metro express pilot service, which now covers the DECC, West Bay, Al Qassar, Katara, Legtaifya, and Qatar University stations.
Qatar Rail continuously reminds the public to adhere to the health and safety protocols across its rail network, such as wearing face masks at all times and keeping a safe distance from others, among others, to ensure the safety of all.
Earlier, Doha Metro announced that it has implemented a series of measures to ensure the safety of everyone.
It has advised people aged 60 years and above, as well as those who suffer from chronic conditions, to stay at home.
