Qatar’s biggest day, when the country is getting ready to make a statement to the blockading nations, is almost here.
It is understandable that the entire nation is eagerly waiting for the Qatar National Day Parade, which will begin at 3pm sharp at the Doha Corniche. Organisers have been advising people to be at the venue by at least 12 noon.
Rest assured that almost all of Qatar will be out at the Doha Corniche in full strength, But organisers have taken enough measures to ensure that people are as comfortable as possible.

The National Day March, which begins from just in front of the Qatar National Theatre, will pass through an area where VIPs and other spectators are seated. There will also be spectacular fireworks from boats anchored behind the little island on the Doha Corniche.

A total of 17 toilets and 19 food kiosks have also been installed to serve the people who will be at the Corniche.

People will not be able to park anywhere near the venue of March Past. Instead ample parking spaces have been provided elsewhere, with several buses constantly plying between the parking lots and venue.
Parking arrangements have been made at various places including Museum of Islamic Art (with five buses taking people back and forth), Souq Waqif (20 buses), Imam Muhammad Ibn Abd Al Wahhab Mosque (40 buses), RasGas and Qatar Gas compounds (five buses) and the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (five buses).
Parking spots without bus transportation is also available in the ground next to Q-Post.
So plan ahead, be early and be safe, everyone.
