Another top honor for Qatar as the Family Consulting Center (Wifaq) has entered the Guinness World Records by setting up the world's largest bulletin board to record the wishes of thousands of children.
The launch of the bulletin board was part of the celebrations for International Children’s Day, which takes place on November 20 every year, and the 30th anniversary of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, and took place under the sponsorship of Qatar Foundation for Social Work.
The celebration comes within the framework of the center’s keenness to participate in international and local events related to family affairs across all its fields.
The center launched the bulletin board on November 20 at Katara – the Cultural Village over an area of 105.72 square meters.

The vibrant board features as many as 5,500 cards containing children’s wishes.
The achievement was certified by the relevant authorities.
The endeavor by Wifaq, with the participation of Aman Center and Dreama, aimed to draw the world’s attention to the importance of protecting children everywhere.
It also focused on promoting the childhood values system that the country pays great attention to while enhancing public awareness of the center's efforts in the field of childcare.
The center also carried out some awareness activities through social media sites, including a range of interactive awareness materials to spread awareness of the importance of celebrating this day.

Moreover, Wifaq highlighted the importance of building a positive relationship between parents and children and how to support them, enhance their coping skills and ways to meet their different needs.
Under the focus on contributing to human and social development in Qatar, Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser had established the Family Consulting Center in November 2002.
The Center is supervised by the Qatar Foundation for Social Work and is the first-of-its-kind in the State of Qatar offering free services.
The Center is oriented to all families and individuals in the society of different cultural backgrounds, religions, languages and age groups, whether they are citizens and residents of the State of Qatar. Its social mission is led by a qualified group of experienced and qualified consultants and counselors.
