As part of its expansion plans to serve the residents of all areas across the country, Qatar Fuel, Woqod, yesterday unveiled the New Al Rayyan -2 Petrol Station.
With the opening of this station, the total number of Woqod fuel dispensing outlets in Qatar reaches 86.

Managing director & CEO of Woqod, Saad Rashid Al Muhannadi said, "We are pleased to open a new fixed petrol station in New Al Rayyan -2. Woqod aspires to expand its petrol station network in the country to meet the rising demand for petroleum products and achieve the goal of providing customers with access to best-in-class products and services at their convenience and comfort."
According to Al Muhannadi, Woqod has recently accelerated the process for the construction of new petrol stations to meet the fuel and energy needs of the country.
"Woqod team would like to extend its gratitude to all concerned governmental and private entities that contributed to the completion of this project," he added.
The new Al Rayyan -2 petrol station spans over an area of 9,200 square meters and has three lanes complemented by nine fuel dispensers.
The new fuel station offers 24/7 services to residents and comprises a Sidra convenience store, and facility to sell LPG cylinders, in addition to the sale of gasoline and diesel products for light vehicles.
Under a major expansion plan, Woqod is overseeing the establishment of some 25 new petrol stations, according to Al Muhannadi. Most of these stations will be operational by this year.
“As part of its strategic expansion plans, Woqod is targeting a total of 114 fuel stations by end-2020," Al Muhannadi highlighted.
