Qatar Health 2022 Conference
Under the patronage of the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH), Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) is hosting the virtual Qatar Health 2022 Conference from February 10 to 12 next year.
The conference will build on the previous success of QH2020 and QH2021 by continuing to provide state-of-the-art learning from experts in the fields of disaster medicine, infectious disease, and trauma surgery for healthcare professionals and students from different backgrounds and countries.
It will maintain a focus on providing quality care during mass gatherings with the inclusion of recent developments and best practices in pandemic mitigation.
It shall also provide opportunities in professional development for a wide variety of healthcare providers from a diverse set of disciplines and practices.

Qatar Health 2022 will provide participants with opportunities for continuing professional education, research opportunities as well as a forum to present their own research and findings, exchange ideas and foster constructive and highly productive discussions.
The announcement was made by HMC via their Twitter account, requesting individuals to submit their scientific work as abstracts for online oral or poster presentations for the highly anticipated event.
The theme for the conference will be ‘Preparing for the World Cup in Qatar; A Multi-Disciplinary Team Approach.'
Qatar Health 2022 will also offer a 3-day program, with multiple full and half-day tracks, preceded by a 2-day of pre-conference workshops and symposia.
Multidisciplinary collaboration in preparation for the 2022 World Cup, best practices and lessons learned from sports mass gatherings, and healthcare preparations for the 2022 World Cup will be the focus of the three-day program.
HMC will be organizing pre-conference workshops from February 8 to 9 and then host the main conference from February 10 to 12.
