Help distribute 1 million Qurans in memory of the late HH the Father Amir

A humanitarian initiative in Qatar is working towards the distribution of one million Qurans in Arabic, English and Spanish, with the reward dedicated to the late HH the Father Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.

The project, named Tibyan, is an initiative by Ajyal Educational Center in cooperation with Thani Humanitarian.

One million Qurans in three languages

According to the project page, the campaign aims to distribute one million copies of the Quran across three languages: Arabic, English and Spanish.

The initiative gives members of the public the opportunity to contribute towards individual copies or larger quantities.

An Arabic Quran can be supported with a contribution of QAR 15, while a translated Quran is listed at QAR 17. Preset contribution options are also available for 10, 50 and 100 copies.

Contribution options

For Arabic copies, the project lists:

• 1 Quran — QAR 15
• 10 Qurans — QAR 150
• 50 Qurans — QAR 750
• 100 Qurans — QAR 1,500

For translated copies:

• 1 Quran — QAR 17
• 10 Qurans — QAR 170
• 50 Qurans — QAR 850
• 100 Qurans — QAR 1,700

Progress towards the one-million goal

As of September 2, 2026, the Tibyan project page showed 799,525 Qurans remaining to reach the campaign’s one-million-copy target. As this figure changes as contributions are made, users should check the project page for the latest total.

The initiative forms part of community efforts to create a lasting charitable legacy in memory of the late HH the Father Amir, while making copies of the Quran available in multiple languages.
