QF’s Awsaj Academy Celebrates the Graduation of 360 Students from Prime Program

Awsaj Academy, part of Qatar Foundation’s Pre-University Education, celebrated the graduation of 360 students from its Prime Program Class of 2026 during a ceremony held at the Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC), attended by graduates, their families, and members of the academy’s academic and administrative staff.

The Prime Program is an evening education initiative launched by Awsaj Academy to support high school students facing challenges in their educational journeys in government and private schools. Through a flexible and supportive learning environment, the program helps students achieve their academic goals and prepare for future academic and career pathways.

Hamza Dhaini, Principal of the Prime Program at Awsaj Academy, said: “This graduation marks a significant milestone in the lives of our students and their families. It is the result of years of perseverance, hard work, and overcoming challenges. It also reflects the confidence families have placed in their children’s abilities and their unwavering support throughout their journey to reach this moment, where we proudly celebrate their achievements.

“Throughout their time in the program, we have witnessed inspiring stories of growth, resilience, and achievement. Many of our students joined facing academic challenges or learning difficulties, yet their determination and perseverance, combined with the support of our dedicated educational team, enabled them to make remarkable progress and reach this well-deserved milestone.”

Dhaini explained that the program goes beyond developing core academic skills, placing equal emphasis on personal and life skills such as effective communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and responsibility. This holistic approach helps prepare students to pursue further education or enter diverse career pathways with confidence and independence.

“By providing a supportive and encouraging learning environment, students have been able to discover their true potential and build self-confidence. Opportunities to participate, take initiative, and assume responsibility have also played an important role in fostering their independence and readiness for the next stage of their lives.

“Today, our graduates embark on a variety of pathways that reflect their aspirations and strengths, whether in higher education, vocational and professional training programs, or the workforce. Most importantly, they leave the program equipped with the skills and foundations needed to continue learning, growing, and thriving throughout their lives.

“We take immense pride in seeing our students celebrate this achievement today. We also extend our sincere appreciation to parents, who have been true partners throughout this journey. Their support, patience, and belief in their children’s abilities have been instrumental in making this success possible, demonstrating the powerful impact of collaboration between families and schools in helping students achieve their full potential.”

Jamla Rashid Al Jassim, 25 years old, a graduate of the Prime Program, said: “I would encourage anyone facing challenges in completing their education not to give up and to continue pursuing their goals. Awsaj Academy provided me with a supportive learning environment and accessible teaching approaches that helped me succeed and continue my educational journey with confidence.”

Meanwhile, Faisal Abdullah Issa, 24 years old, another graduate of the program, said: “Graduating today marks an important turning point in my life and reflects years of hard work and perseverance. Throughout my academic journey, I faced a number of challenges, but the support I received from my teachers and the encouragement of my classmates helped me overcome them and achieve success.”

“The program strengthened my sense of commitment and organization, while also helping me develop my communication and public speaking skills. Studying both Arabic and English further enhanced my ability to express myself and engage confidently with others skills that I will carry with me into the next stage of my life.”
