The 21st edition of the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters is almost here, and everyone’s invited! Part of the prestigious European Tour, the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters is one of the country's most exciting and well-attended sporting events.

2018 promises to be another thrilling tournament featuring the world’s finest golfers. As well as top sporting action, the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters also provides a wonderful day out with family and friends in the beautiful green surroundings of Doha Golf Club.

Starting this Thursday, on the 22nd of February, and lasting till Saturday, 24th February, you can enjoy a wide selection of food and beverages from quality vendors, and participate in fun games and activities with your children, family and friends.

At the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters, take in the vibrant atmosphere and gorgeous lush views along with all-day entertainment at Doha’s best sporting event, and enjoy great music to top it all off.
Admission to the event is free for all days of the tournament, with play beginning at 6 am and finishing at around 4:00 p.m. each day.

The Commercial Bank Qatar Masters features a special family area, to which admission is open from 8:00 a.m. till 6:00 p.m.

About the tournament

Since 1998, the prestigious Commercial Bank Qatar Masters golf tournament has been hosted by Doha Golf Club. 2018 marks Commercial Bank’s 13th year as title sponsor and the tournament is held at the beginning of each year as part of The European Tour. Many of the world's top golfers compete on Doha Golf Club's unique and challenging desert-type Championship Course, which has proven to be one of the longest par 72 courses on the tour.

The Commercial Bank Qatar Masters is considered Qatar’s annual ‘must-attend’ sporting and social event, widely known for bringing together the world’s best golf talent. The likes of Branden Grace, Sergio Garcia, Rory Mcllroy, Justin Rose, Rafael Carbrera-Bello and Henrik Stenson have all competed in recent years.



The Commercial Bank Qatar Masters was attended by over 20,000 spectators in 2017 and broadcast to a global TV audience of over 400 million viewers. For the 21st edition of the event, all eyes will be on Doha as the biggest names in the sport vie for the Mother of Pearl Trophy at one of the most challenging courses on the European Tour.
