One of the most eagerly-anticipated events in Qatar’s sporting calendar, The Color Run presented by Sahtak Awalan: Your Health First, an initiative of Weill Cornell Medicine-Qatar, is back to town today!

Taking place at the Qatar National Convention Center  (QNCC), this fun-spirited event, popularly known as the happiest 5K on the planet, sees participants soak in vivid colors as they run, walk, skip or jog along the course. 

Once again, Qatar Living has joined The Color Run as a community partner. The largest community platform in Qatar has returned with exciting activations and giveaways at the unique event for the fourth year in a row.

The Color Run celebrates health, happiness, and individuality by both empowering and encouraging participants of all ages and abilities to focus on their health and well-being.

The sixth edition returns under the theme “Love Tour” to celebrate the bond that ties us together, and to raise awareness on the health benefits of keeping an active lifestyle.

This un-timed event witnesses Color Runners being doused from head to toe in a different colored powder at each kilometer mark.

The participants wear white as they begin the race at the starting line and are plastered in color by the time they reach the finish line.

Once the 5k is over, the fun continues at the Finish Festival, a larger-than-life party equipped with music, dancing, photo opportunities, activity booths, vendors, and more massive color throws.

Everyone will celebrate their achievements at the end with prizes, music, photo opportunities, and a myriad of cherished moments.

Since its inception in 2012, The Color Run has become a global phenomenon. The Color Run has been experienced by over 7 million people worldwide in 40+ countries.

As always, this year's edition has gathered large groups, ready to immerse in the colors of joy with their families and friends.
