Qatar Stars League runner up, Al Sadd, go head-to-head with Al Jaish in the Qatar Cup Final at the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium today.
Al Sadd will be looking to lift the Qatar Cup for the first time in their history. However, the Soldiers look to lift the cup for a second successive year, reaching the cup final for a record fourth year in a row.
Both teams head into the final captained by ex-FC Barcelona players with Xavi leading out The Wolves and former Malian international Seidou Keita for the Soldiers.
They will both be hoping to finish off a decent season with some silverware following successful QSL seasons. Al Sadd finished second while Al Jaish managed to secure a respectable fourth place.
The Wolves and the Soldiers come into the final after thrilling semi-final matches, both of which ended 3-2.
Al Sadd will head into the tie the hungrier team after missing out on the QSL league title by just two points this term.
Al Jaish will also be eager to win the title before the team becomes history as a merger a with Lekhwiya has already been agreed for next season.
The Wolves will also be seeking revenge in the Qatar Cup as they were beaten on all three previous occasions to El Jaish at the semi-final stage.
