His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani took part in the activities of the National Sport Day, this Tuesday.

The Amir walked on Al Bayt Stadium Park's walkway with primary school students to raise awareness on the importance of sport – encouraging youngsters to adopt healthy lifestyles and manage physical fitness. 

The park contains green spaces which surround the entire Al Bayt Stadium. It includes sports facilities, running, cycling, and horse-riding tracks. 

Al Bayt Stadium will host the opening match of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. The park is an outstanding project, considered a legacy after the World Cup.
