As Eid Al-Fitr draws near, the Amiri Diwan has announced the official Eid holidays for government entities in the country.
According to the announcement, the Eid Al-Fitr holidays for ministries, government agencies, and other public bodies and institutions will commence on Sunday, May 9, 2021, and continue until Tuesday, May 18, 2021.
Employees will resume work on Wednesday, May 19, 2021.

As for banks and financial institutions working under the supervision of the Qatar Central Bank (QCB) and Qatar Financial Markets Authority (QFMA), His Excellency the QCB Governor will specify the start and end of the holiday.
