We are nearing the end of summer holidays and most schools will reopen in the first week of September. At the beginning of every academic year, parents scramble to find a school for their child(ren) due to the lack of seats at schools.

We will try our best to compile a list of schools that are still accepting admission applications. Ideally, it would be easier to get a seat in one of the new schools that started operations this year. Unless you're in luck or have wasta, getting an admission in one of the well established schools nowadays is extremely hard.

Schools that are still accepting students:

It is a comprehensive (age 3-18) private day school for girls and boys serving international families; primarily expatriates and also host country nationals.

It is a primary school for girls and boys aged 5-10, starting with grades 0 to 6. The school is based on the best educational practices from Finland.

A British-style international school following a curriculum carefully adapted to meet the needs of a diverse student body.  They are accepting registration for FS1 (KG1) – Year 5.

GEMS American Academy-Qatar will welcome up to 1550 students from Kindergarten through to Grade 5 in the first year and in successive years will grow and expand the secondary years.

Curriculum: United States Common Core State Standards

The Supreme Education Council, acknowledging DBS as a pre-eminent international school delivering the National Curriculum of England, has selected us to open a new branch of DBS Primary School in Al Wakra. initially offering Primary classes from Pre-School (3 year olds) to Year 5 (9 year olds). It will grow naturally from Year 5 to Year 6. There will be 3 classes in each year group accommodating 25 children in each.
