Kuwait is a country that has stood with Qatar ever since the start of the illegal siege and always tried hard to find a solution to the problem.

Naturally, Qatar is keen to continue its cordial relations with the country. As a part of the initiative, HH The Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani sent a verbal message to the Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah yestedray, reported Gulf Times.

HH Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani, Personal Representative of HH The Emir, conveyed the message — pertaining to the deep ties between the two countries and prospects of developing them — to the Emir of Kuwait at the Bayan Palace, according to The Peninsula.

According to Qatar Tribune, the two leaders also reviewed bilateral relations and discussed the developments in the region.

The First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Al Khaled Al Hamad Al Sabah attended the meeting along with Deputy Minister of the Emiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Ali Jarrah Al Sabah.

The Kuwaiti emir hosted a luncheon banquet in honour of His Highness Sheikh Jassim and his accompanying delegation at Dar Salwa.
