Qatar’s Civil Defense teams have brought a fire on an offshore platform in the Doha Corniche area under control, with no injuries reported, confirmed the Ministry of Interior in a post on X on Monday morning.
The incident occurred at the Msheireb Enrichment Centre, a prominent pavilion structure located just off the Doha Corniche. Civil Defense units were dispatched to the scene and managed to contain the blaze without any reported casualties.
Authorities have not yet released details on the cause of the fire or the extent of damage.
The Msheireb Enrichment Centre, operated by Msheireb Properties, serves as an exhibition and events space showcasing Qatar’s heritage and the Msheireb Downtown Doha development, and is a well-known landmark for residents and visitors along the waterfront.
