Chairman of Qatar’s Real Estate Regulatory Authority (Aqarat) Eng. Khalid bin Ahmed Al Obaidli met Saudi Real Estate General Authority CEO Eng. Abdullah bin Saud Al Hammad and Saudi Real Estate Development Fund CEO Eng. Loaye Al Nahedh during a visit to Riyadh on Thursday.
Aqarat said the two meetings focused on strengthening cooperation, activating the memorandum of understanding between the two sides, and expanding partnership opportunities through the exchange of expertise in real estate regulation and development.
Discussions also covered best practices in governance, digital transformation, and the development of real estate systems and legislation.
The sides further reviewed cooperation in finance and real estate development, as well as initiatives supporting the sector and enhancing the efficiency of the real estate system amid rapid growth in both countries.
The meetings form part of ongoing efforts to boost integration and cooperation in the real estate sector between Qatar and Saudi Arabia.
