CNAQ returns with the 9th edition of its global village and heralds a year like non before. The annual global village event first started in 2006. It has since become a popular platform for the CNAQ students to display their talent and celebrate the cultural diversity that exists within the campus that hosts as many as 60 nationalities.

Global Village celebration has over 18 countries participating with cultural booths and once again have two nights full of awesome on-stage performances.

The Global Village is all about sharing each other’s cultures and recognizing the importance of learning and living in a great multi-cultural environment like Qatar.

The most unique thing about the global village, if any student is asked, would be the the global passport. Each visitor will receive an official Global Village 2015 passport when they enter the village. Visit each booth and learn about the 18 countries at Global Village and receive that country’s stamp. This year, the passport also has a voting ballots for the People's Choice Award for favourite booth and an entry ballot for the passport prize draw. Make sure you fill them out so you and your favourite booth have a chance to win!
