In its continuous mission to promote an active and healthy lifestyle within the Qatari community, Crunch Doha, Qatar’s first transformation company, has partnered with Qatar Living and the Future International Football Academy for the Family Fun Day.

Held on November 21 as part of the continuous celebrations of Qatar Living’s 10th anniversary, the event brought together coaches, kids and parents for an action-packed day that featured a slew of sporting activities, games and competitions.

Commenting on the company’s partnership with the event, Nuwaid Pocker, CEO and Co-Founder of Crunch Doha, said:

The Qatar National Vision 2030 strategically sits on four pillars of economic, societal, human and environmental development. Anchoring this growth is the wellbeing and health of a community that can actively lead on and drive change. Backed by a wide-ranging expertise in the health and fitness arena, Crunch Doha is shouldering its responsibility in driving this national vision forward, spearheading several initiatives and efforts that tackle health and wellbeing gaps among the Qatari community. Our efforts are geared toward instilling a fitness and sports culture in Qatari youth as a gateway for future, longer-term impact. Younger generations lead highly adaptive, dynamic and active lifestyles by nature; a wealth we must capitalize on to ensure that they themselves take ownership and leadership of a wider national endeavor to promote the longevity, sustainability and wellbeing of the Qatari community.”

Bilal Randeree, Managing Director at Qatar Living, added:

“The region is riddled with several problems that are affecting and hindering the wellbeing of local communities. While several individual efforts to actively tackle these problems have been made across the region, Qatar is in a prime position to lead on a national effort at the service of health and fitness awareness; particularly in light of the World Cup 2022, which will attract a worldwide audience of sports and fitness enthusiasts and, effectively, turn Qatar into a sports destination. It is imperative, now more than ever, to strengthen the sports and fitness culture in Qatar by investing into highly active and energetic young generations. The economic and human development opportunities that lay in such investments are limitless. This is one of many events that are placing sports and fitness at the center of Qatar’s communal lifestyle and culture.”

In line with the event’s overarching objective, Family Fun Day participants snacked on samples from “Nuwaid’s Nutrition”, a Crunch Doha sub-brand for healthy foods.

Participating kids joined football drills and mini-tournaments alongside the academy coaches, while parents partook in several activities and games.

Special treats and prizes were also handed out to winners in celebration of Qatar Living’s anniversary.
