The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) yesterday revised the travel and return policy for individuals traveling from Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan, the Philippines, and Sri Lanka, taking effect from August 2, 2021.

Considering the traveler has been vaccinated or recovered from COVID-19 in the State of Qatar, the Ministry explained that anyone traveling from these six countries will be required to undergo hotel quarantine for a period of two days.

The quarantine period will end after obtaining a negative PCR test result on the second day of quarantine.

On the other hand, all other travelers coming from these countries are subject to hotel quarantine for a period of 10 days.

Discover Qatar now accepts bookings for the two-day mandatory hotel quarantine packages for travelers from Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, and Sri Lanka.

Additionally, the MoPH also updated the green, yellow, and red list countries.
