If you have been to the Al Duhail area, you may have seen the parking lot of the Al Duhail sports club becoming a beehive of activity during nighttime.

This is because the Night Market is happening there in full swing.

The Night Market, which was first launched during the Ramadan period this year, is back and has been attracting thousands of visitors, reported Gulf Times.

This time around, the Night Market is giving an opportunity for 130 micro-businesses, in the fields of food and beverage (F&B), retail, handicrafts, and entertainment, to showcase their wares.

The Night Market, an initiative by Sheikh Suhaim bin Khalid bin Hamad Al Thani, is aimed at supporting Qatari youth.

“The market features many retail outlets for clothing, accessories, perfumes and home accessories. When it comes to F&B, we’ve new concepts of coffee shops, restaurants, and sweets. Visitors will be treated to more businesses, bigger space, attractive decorations, and a variety of weekly entertainment,” Qatari businesswoman and social media influencer Najlaa Al Shafiee, who is organising the event, was quoted as saying by Gulf Times.

“A majority of our visitors are from the younger generation. So the market is filled with ‘the spirit of youth’,” she said.

The market is open to the public and runs from 4 pm until 1 am every day. There are designated family days on Tuesdays and Fridays.
