Egypt condemns Iran's attacks on Kuwait, Bahrain and Gulf states

Egypt has strongly condemned Iran's repeated attacks on Kuwait, Bahrain and other Gulf states, describing them as a flagrant violation of sovereignty and an unacceptable escalation that threatens regional peace and stability.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, Egypt's Ministry of Foreign Affairs rejected all actions that undermine the security of fellow Arab states and called for restraint and de-escalation to prevent further tensions in the region.

Cairo also expressed its full solidarity with Kuwait and Bahrain, reaffirming its support for both countries in confronting any threats to their security and sovereignty.

The ministry stressed that the stability and security of the Gulf are an integral part of Egypt's national security and the security of the wider Arab region.

"There is no justification or excuse for these repeated and reprehensible Iranian attacks," the statement said.

Egypt's remarks come amid growing regional concern over escalating tensions, with Cairo reiterating its commitment to safeguarding regional security and supporting diplomatic efforts to maintain peace and stability.
