Eid Al Fitr prayer in Qatar will be held at 5 a.m., exactly 15 minutes following sunrise, the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs announced on its channels.

Eid Al Fitr is expected to fall tomorrow if the crescent of Shawwal month is sighted tonight. If crescent is not sighted in the sky of Qatar tonight, Eid will be celebrated on Monday, The Peninsula reports.

Citing astronomical calculations, Qatar Calendar House had earlier said that the holy month of Ramadan will be for 29 days this year and will end on June 24.

The Ministry has posted lists of hundreds of mosques and prayer-grounds on its Twitter account that were prepared to hold Eid Al Fitr prayers across the country.

A number of mosques and prayer grounds with separate spaces for women prayers have been prepared this year, according to The Peninsula.
